Nihonbashi Atelier located in the centre of Tokyo at Higashi Nihonbashi, overlooking the panorama of the famous Sky Tree Tower, provides a fantastic opportunity for you to learn, create and experiment with your own favorite Japanese food.
We have monthly events. They´re presented as a "master class" model for groups.
One of the highlights of these events is that you´ll have the opportunity to meet other people with common interests. The events are very diverse, from extra virgin olive oil master class to specific japanese traditional elaborations to all kinds of different culinary techniques... and all the people attending will feel a special connection to the event, just like you! At times we will have the privilege of a guest speaker (local or foreign) expert on the field of the event.
We impart lessons of Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, Moroccan, Croatian and Cyrpiot cuisine. They´re extremely valuable, since they´re all Intangible Cultural Heritage, declared by UNESCO. We will teach you the authentic cuisine with a modern twist, without ever missing the traditional aspect of the elaboration and tastes. Another priceless aspect of these lessons is that we pair the alcoholic beverages with each elaboration (all sorts of Spanish wines and Sangría for our Spanish delicious dishes, Limoncello and Lambruscos for the Italians, Vino Verde and Port wines for the Portuguese... etc)
Our Nihonbashi Atelier is located in a beautiful centric neighbourhood in a "secret location" which makes it really attractive for enjoying the authentic experience that we offer. We provide only private lessons, and you can attend alone or with your family, friends, coworkers, beloved special person... the experience will be exclusively dedicated to YOU. We´re not a strict culinary school, therefore it doesn´t matter what your level of expertise is, we change the structure and details of our lessons to adapt them to your skills and the people you choose to accompany you.You can bring your kids along too! Nihonbashi Atelier is kids friendly, and we´ll make sure they too have a wonderful time.You don´t need to bring anything apart from yourself. We will provide all the materials. Think of it as an augmented restaurant experience. We will offer aprons, kitchen utensils, appliances and everything needed for the elaboration of your selected lesson. Big number of our utensil´s materials is Hinoki (a type of cypress that is consider sacred and only grows in this part of the world) and we only have top quality equipment, selected by Nihonbashi Atelier.
